With many business still finding their operations affected by the second wave of COVID-19, Northbridge Insurance has decided to extend the length of time for which coverage will be provided for locations unoccupied because of government - mandated closures due to the pandemic.
Coverage will automatically be granted for unoccupied premises until the provincial government allows the business to reopen or until March 1, 2021, whichever comes first. Premises that remain unoccupied after this period require a vacancy permit and must be submitted for underwriting review.
Northbridge has created the attached check list to help clients keep their locations safe in the event they are closed.
